I've been involved in business and business organizing for over twelve years, working across a broad section of industries including staffing agencies, corporate law, public health, alternative healers, and life coaches!

My Biography:

I studied Administration and Policy at the University of Texas and started an Austin-area virtual assistant firm, Total Administrative Solutions, in 2005. I initially offered business organization and administrative services, but things went so well that the administrative support services end of TAS is now its own business, Cloud Nine Staffing, which is going really well.

Total Administrative Solutions' focus has shifted to business organization and publishing. I recently published my first book, The Renegade Organizer's Easy Guide to Paper Management! In the book I give advice on how to get control over the paper that quickly takes over any office, even a virtual one.

I wrote this book because many times I would go out for a free consultation and find that the potential client didn't really need my full services. I started looking for a book to recommend to people in that situation and I couldn't find anything that I felt was practical (short, to the point, easy to follow) so I created my own.  It's getting rave reviews from everyone who has read it so far, and several people have put its suggestions into practice.  I checked in with them a few months later and they're still using what they learned from the book to improve their organization, to be happier and more efficient.

As for Cloud Nine Staffing, we are rapidly growing and expanding our focus to include large businesses as well as small to medium ones.  We realized that there was a huge opportunity for a staffing company that provides reliable, high-quality administrative workers. Cloud Nine is truly unique in the industry; we give our Admin Angels benefits and make them our employees, so our clients don't have to deal with temp turnover each year.  We are a new-paradigm, socially conscious business.  We have a lot to offer and we have a lot to give back to the industry.

Let's see, what else?  I'm also a healer.  I've experienced and learned about many different methodologies and techniques.  One that particularly stands out for me is Access Energy Transformation.  I don't agree with 100% of its teachings, but I have found the actual practice to be very effective and empowering.
